Why Is Mr Berns Wrong

Decent Essays
I believe that Mr. Berns was wrong when he said the three demons you need to slay, is, religion, family, and friends. I think he's wrong because my grandpa was very rich and he went to church every sunday and was very into his religion and he never became bankrupt from going to church. My grandpa told me when i got confirmed that church is the best place to go to look for answers. That can help in the process in becoming rich because you will be confused a lot in the process and having that ability to go to church to find answers is a very good. Next you need family because if anything goes wrong on the process to making money your family will always be there for support. Your family should love you no matter what you go through and support

Dennis Dinardo is going to be prosecuted for reckless disregard to human life because of the amount of danger he put everyone in. This is the right way to go because he was correct that Washington had a gun and was running with a purpose after the shots were fired. Charging Dinardo with attempted murder would be too much because he was right to take the shots he did and not charging him would not be right either because he fired multiple shots into crowd of chaos. The race of both men is not important to the story because that is not the reason Dinardo shot Washington, he shot Washington because he felt as though he was in danger of being shot. The second transit officer who stopped after he heard Dinardo yelling from the train should have pulled off his badge and shown it to him to prove that they were on the same side of the law.…

In his novel, The Catcher in the Rye, J.D. Salinger conveys the idea that the authenticity of art depends on the motive of the artists; because in his perspective, real art creates true emotions while inauthentic art made to please one’s audience does not. A perfect example of this is when Holden goes to see Ernie, a pianist, perform. Immediately, upon entering the bar, Holden notices the mirror before Ernie’s face and the “dumb, show-offy ripples” (84) used in the high notes.
