Why Is Maya Angelou Famous

Maya Angelou is famous because she writes many books,and stories especially her famous memoir “I know why the caged bird sings”. Maya not only made books and stories but she inspired many famous writers. Maya was an actor and she got the Chicago International Film Festival’s 1998 Audience Choice Award. Maya also got two image awards for her 2005 cookbook and her 2008 book letter to my daughter.
