Lying
(WARNING: I will also be sharing my thoughts and opinions, not just facts.)
Is Lying Bad? Lying is a very interesting subject. Some people say It is bad some say It is sometimes good, and some say it is always good.Overall though most of the people do say it is bad. (about 71% on Debate.org) They say this because they believe that the guilt will keep you up at night, along with others like how you are losing yourself in the alternate reality you create for your lies. Now I have to say a couple things before I continue, One I have always stayed up until about midnight and then fallen asleep almost my whole life and that hasn’t really ever changed unless we stayed up late to watch a movie and on new year's eve so that can be counted out for me but yet I don't know about other people. I also never really have a hard time knowing who I am, what I like, and my personality because it is inside my brain not like something that you erase like expo a little bit each time you lie which is why I find the reason confusing. Another reason is because you lose your family's trust which is true as you lie you separate yourself from your family

Is it ok to lie in any situation, or is it just wrong to lie at all ? In four articles that I read, it states a couple of things, for example, they talk about lying and if it's bad, is lying sometimes good, and is lying good. I believe lying is only good sometimes and it should only be used in white lies. I think a good time to lie is when you protect someone. One scenario of this is the story of Ann Frank.this is a good example because they were protecting Ann and her family by saying that there was nothing upstairs.…
