Can you imagine being thought of as useless? The book Lord of The Flies, written by William Golding, was based during World War II. Piggy is a 12 year old, short, fat boy that wears glasses in the book. When the cities began to get bombed in World War II, they moved the children to rural areas in order to save their future generations. In this story, a plane has crashed on a deserted island and only the children are left. Piggy believes that life is scientific, disregards people thinking he’s fat and useless, and feels like he is the smartest on the island while often making it a point to everyone which effects the novel
