Why Is Literacy Important?

Have you ever questioned the need of reading and writing? It, indeed, is a very powerful material. Although literacy has a negative experience, it comes out to have a positive impact in life. The literacy expands knowledge, a guide to success, and creates a unique picture. The different types of literature seem to bring oneself to a different world, it shows the knowledge that is brought out from the mind. On the road to success, literacy strongly develops the brain and teaches different topics and different lessons. Literacy has the aspect of creating a picture in the mind, to bring oneself outside the box, into a bigger picture. It shows a different way of life and a different view of certain aspects. Expanding knowledge as oneself grows as a student is very important. It brings out the best in the writer. Having a book in your hand creates the knowledge people have now. It brings the student to a whole new world with different topics that are being introduced for the first time. Literacy has a big effect on how people view things now that their knowledge is expanded each time a book is read. Once a book is chosen that is likeable, it’s hard not to put it down. In my experiences, it teaches me things I have never known. It shows different ways of how to handle different roles in life, or what something is really worth. What that means is that once a book is read, the mind develops a picture of the story given with the facts behind it.
