From being a successful hip hop musical artist to engaging in the most controversial arguments and activities of all time Kanye West has been listed one of the most controversial person. Most of society can’t see past his outrage, outburst in the media. Some may say once he married the controversial well known Kim Kardashian was when things took a shift for the worse. He is constantly being judged and scrutinized by most. There have been times when he had to consult professional help because it became overwhelming. Aside from his interesting sense of fashion, affiliations and outburst Kanye West has been judged not only from the media but from society. This has gained him so much unwanted attention worldwide. Not a lot of people see that side of him, they see the serious, defensive and outrageous side. But in an interview with his mother in law Kris Jenner the hip-hop artist revealed his fears about being a first-time parent. He talks about first thinking to himself about how his first-born daughter would view him due to the media outlook on his life. “As everyone knows, it’s sometimes difficult for me to deal with the press, and at this point, it is almost an addenda to write me into a certain type of story” Kanye told his mother in law. It’s nearly impossible for a celebrity to one hundred percent let the audience in. Us as the audience see almost half of a celebrity’s life but in closed doors we know nothing. Being put in a situation like that under the fame and lights and not being able to truly articulate one’s feelings can be extremely difficult. People look at his different sense of style: holes in his clothing line, or the price of his products and judge it. But in all actuality, he is being a very smart businessman. The people that talk so negativity about his work are the same people that buy it at the end of the day. West has mastered the ropes of the buyers and found unusual ways to market his work that have made millions. He lost his mother in two thousand and seven, who was a really big supporter to him, that tragic event really affected him. For months, he was depressed, enraged and had thoughts about giving up. With all that being said he came to a realization and found ways to incorporate all his emotions and feelings into something productive. He renovated everything about himself and branded himself in ways no one could ever think of. All of this to him was very therapeutic and a smart choice. In a sense, he got rid of all the negative and hopeless feelings of the past and became a new and improved Kanye West. Some of society, compare him to how he used to be and say he changed for the worse. But have they ever sit to think what was going on during that point of his life, what would they do if they were put in a similar situation. His determination and drive has landed him with very successful roles and brands. He was able to expand his brand worldwide. He is now a Multiple Grammy Award winning producer and artist.
