Caesar, he was at war and had a very powerful army. After the war he set out, on his return and he kills Pompeii. So the people loved Caesar and wanted him to become king. However Cassius, a man who was very loyal to Pompeii hated Caesar. He does not want him to become king, because he thinks he is too powerful and will destroy what Rome is. Cassius is loyal to Rome and wants Caesar dead, even though Caesar rejected the crown three times.

The influence Caesar had on Rome was pretty big. All the Roman people love him and they think he is the best. They believe he is the most powerful and want him to become king.
