John Lennon was assassinated on December 8th, 1940 outside his apartment complex by a man called Mark David Chapman. He was DUA at the hospital. He died at the age of forty. John Lennon was a songwriter, singer, and composer, most well known for his work with the Beatles (1958-1970) and his solo album “Imagine”. He created artwork and beauty. His murder was completely unjustified. John Lennon was born October 9th, 1940 in Liverpool England. His parents were Alfred and Julia Lennon. His father was a seaman and was often gone, but still sent paychecks to them until 1944 when he went absent without leave. The couple split up shortly afterward. In a recent interview for NBC they said “The reason for the crime, according to Mark David Chapman: “Attention, bottom line.” This goes to show that not even the killer had anything against Lennon, as it states later in the article “Chapman said he was living in Hawaii when he decided to target Lennon “because he was very famous”. Few people might argue that his assassination was justified simply because they are either delusional or crazy. As previously stated, he did nothing to provoke any such attack. No rational human being could justify his assassination. The only reason anyone could come up with would be made up or plain stupid. Even the killer only selected him because he was extremely famous. The assassination of John Lennon was completely unjustified and not provoked in any way. He was a quiet man who wanted nothing more than peace. Any reason anyone would be invalid, as he never did anything to provoke such an attack. His assassination was a massive shock to the world, and a great loss to the musical
