However, Jenifer Lawrence is different from many other female stars because she stands up for women and is considered a feminist advocate. Jenifer Lawrence, a size 6, has often been called a “plus size” star and asked to lose weight for various roles she takes on. She always says that she is happy with her body and will continue to be healthy but eat what she wants and not feel the need to starve herself to achieve a look. She is also very vocal about other women’s rights. She “is a feminist and believes that women can be strong-willed yet still retain their empathetic nature” and she has since started to fight back against the gender pay gap that is present in Hollywood. She says, “I didn't want to seem 'difficult' or 'spoiled.' At the time, that seemed like a fine idea, until I saw the payroll on the Internet and realized every man I was working with definitely didn't worry about being 'difficult' or 'spoiled….
