Just think of every Italian food that people eat all the time. More than forty percent of Americans eat Italian food at least one to two times per week. Italian immigrants brought many goods and traditions to America in the 1800’s including one of the most popular cuisines. This multidimensional cuisine is a daily meal for many Americans and many people eat Italian food on a daily basis and love it. Italian cuisine is the most popular ethnic food in America, because it is appetizing, comforting, affordable, and easily accessible. Seven million Italians emigrated to America in the 1800’s and brought Italian cooking with them to the United States.“There are approximately 350 different types of pasta” (Why does Pasta). Everyone loves these different options because there is one for everyone’s lifestyle. Fast food options include MOD Pizza, Noodles and Company, Piada and Pizza Cucinova to name a few. Casual dining options would include Eagles Pizza, Mellow Mushroom, Olive Garden, Carrabba's and California Pizza Kitchen. Formal Italian cuisine would include white table cloth attire such as Martinis, Brio, Z Cucina and Spagio . There is marketplace Italian food like Eataly located in the larger cities such as Chicago, Boston, New York, and Los Angeles. Eataly was created in 2007 and “When entrepreneur Oscar Farinetti turned an old vermouth factory in Turin, Italy into the very first Eataly location. His goal was "to make high quality Italian foods available to everyone” (Filloon). This started the sensation of market style Italian food and there are about 5 Eataly marketplace locations in the United States and many more around the world. Many larger cities have neighborhoods called Little Italy where the entire block is lined with Italian restaurants, bakeries and delicatessens. “Delivery pizza is fast, inexpensive and convenient for students and professionals” (David). Delivery pizza is made quickly in large pizza ovens while “gourmet pizza will often consist of ingredients that, while fresh, are imported to help them create a unique sauces and special toppings”(3 Differences Between ). The many options to consume Italian food are endless and range from eating a slice of pizza at the Blue Jackets hockey game to sitting in a five star restaurant eating veal
