To reach the summit of Mount Everest, George Mallory said “ Because it was there”. He said this for people to know that exploring things that may be impossible is the impossible. Exploration at extreme conditions is worth the cost for big reasons, exploration produces technology for people to build bigger things like better rocket ships and satellite radios. Furthermore, gives us new knowledge to space and things we may not know yet and may need the materials for here on earth. Yet, people believe though that space exploration is not worth it because of the human lives that it takes to do it if something does not work .

In 1986 the Challenger launched and there was no sign of anything wrong, but then the ship backfired and exploded, killing the 7 people aboard.
