Just imagine this, you just got out of jail, trying to fix things with your family, trying to start fresh. You go try to register to vote. Oh wait you can't. Why? Because your a felon. It's so hard for felons to vote because of their record. It's also hard for immigrants to vote they need so many papers to be able to register.
Creating a country where everyone is happy is nearly impossible. But creating a country where laws are fair is possible. You're here in America, thinking where dreams come true, but if your immigrant and your dream is to vote. Thats nearly impossible, because you don’t have the papers. There are so many stereotypes going around. For example a felon is always a felon. That’s not true. It's like if you committed a crime you're always going to be criminal. That's not true either.
A lot of people think that not letting immigrants vote is a good idea. Because they automatically think that they're here do something bad. People always accuse. They are humans too.
