Why Is It Important To Take Honors Classes

Improved Essays
In the first quote, it mainly discusses about how Honors students have trouble discussing and answering questions out loud because we are afraid of saying something wrong or different. I can say that this quote is absolutely true. There are countless times that I feel like I know an answer to a question or I feel like I can contribute something to a discussion, but I am too scared about what other people would think about my answer. I think that Honors students generally are afraid of this because we are worried about saying something wrong. Again, this quote is very applicable to many Honors students’ lives. We generally take these Honors classes as a way of trying to “get into the best college”, but for me I think it is just the fact of challenging my abilities as student and overall learning at a faster pace has always been a standard way of learning to me. Generally, I have been trying to improve on my procrastination and I think it is going pretty well, but there is always those moments where I reach for my phone, or I turn on Netflix instead of really focusing on my homework. By doing this, it really makes my homework take much longer than it needs to. This week is the week before Spring Break and this calls for many tests, assignments, and overall just more stress! My goal this week is to not procrastinate things like my Language Arts notes, or my Math assignments because I know in the past these have gotten me really stressed. My other goal is to finish my AP Language and Comp application ASAP (Wednesday is my goal) and my application for my summer program. The key to not falling behind is
