For me, receiving the ILLCF Scholarship would be significant. It would mean I will be able to reach my career goal. If I receive the scholarship I will be able to afford one semester of college and buy my books. I will then not have to worry constantly on how I will be able to pay for that semester and I will be able to just focus on my studies. My father is disable and receives Social Security. He receives 930 dollars for the month. We then pay the bills and are left with no money at the end of the month. This makes it even harder for me to afford college especially since I am undocumented. With this scholarship I will be closer to finishing college and reaching my goal of becoming a lawyer.

My plans to complete my education will help
