Why Is It Important To Read The Book Fahrenheit 451

Have you ever wondered what it would be like without books? If so then read this book to get a feel for what is could be like without them. This book is in a world where there is no books or a lot of knowledge. The reason why is because there is no way for people to learn anything that you could learn from books. The point the author is trying to get by this is that we need books to learn, and that actions have consequences.
Radbury wanted the readers to imagine what it would be like in a world without books and how it would affect the world. If the world was to have no books people would end up doing what happens in the book which would be killing themselves. This leads to things that go into the whole actions have consequences. In the book there is a rule book for the firefighters. If they break these rules they have consequences which is they get arrested. “Fire!” this was Montag being told to burn down his house down because they found out that he had books hidden inside his house. This is what ties into the whole actions have consequences because he hid books inside his house so he had to burn it. The author also wants to get across that you don’t have to be like everyone else.
Montage doesn’t like how he can’t have books so he takes books and hides them. This goes with Bradbury trying to get across that you don’t need to follow what everyone else does. Montag kept stealing books and hiding them and this started in the very first section of the book when the old lady burns with her house. “Her hand moved under the pillow.” This is what happened when Mildred, Montag’s wife found Montag’s first book and asked why he had it. These are some of the things I think he was trying to get across when readers read this
