For most students, picking a major is the hardest decision they’ve had to make in life yet. Just like everything else in life there are pluses and minuses to every major. Anyone with a business degree can pursue employment in almost any industry, making it one of the most popular programs taken in college. Because of this there are more graduates with a business degree than any other degree. Therefore, finding a well paid job in the industry right after college is very competitive. Proving yourself from the bottom to get to the top is the key to being successful with a business degree. Police, border patrol, correctional officers, etc. will always be needed in today's society due to their high demand every year. In the criminal justice field, there is always opportunity for advancement, high pay, and early retirement. The benefits of a government job is one of the best throughout all careers. Long strenuous hours, stressful cases, and dangerous jobs, are all apart of this career. A job in both of these fields can be difficult as well as rewarding. …show more content…
