I believe that this is important because even though it was a long time ago they still did some very bad things. Even though one nazi soldier did not kill every person they were a part of the group who was doing the murders. “Hanning has been charged with accessory to murder in the deaths of 170,000 people killed at death camp.” Hanning was one of the ex-nazi’s that was charged with murgers. I think that it is still important to punish the previous guards no matter how old they are. Even though they are old and maybe nice now they used to be part of some evil killings.
