1. Why is it important to notify your instructors sooner rather than later if issues come up during the course? What message do your professors infer from your communication when you contact them before a due date? After a due date?
If issues arise, it is very important to notify your professor sooner rather than later. If you have a deadline and something beyond your control happens, letting them know ahead can potentially keep you from getting a failing grade. I believe if you communicate ahead of time with your professor it will show them that you take their course seriously and that you are well managed. I think it would be better if school started later in the morning. This being it will reduce tardiness to first and second period. People have debated over this question for years now. Studies were taking on teens sleeping schedule and how early they wake up, and the teens need more sleep in general, so forcing them to be up early for school cuts into their sleep time as well as their sleep rhythm, making them less ready to learn during those first-period classes. Schools across america have tried this by delaying the tardy bell to an hour later and their results showed a decrease in tardiness.…

First, the reason why I choose to Avoid being tardy and turning in assignments late is on account of the fact that I know from personal experience that teachers and professors alike hate having to take time away from something they could be doing to have fun or better themselves as a person. Next, was the technique of emailing the professor…

Therefore, I was worried that I wouldn’t catch up with my classmates and end up failing the class. However, Ms. Anna was generous and extended the assignment due date for me; she even gave me an extra-credit assignment to replace the credits that I missed during my two weeks in training.…

Galileo once said, “You cannot teach a man anything, you can only help him find it within himself.” Great teachers can help students achieve great things, and they can guide them, but teachers cannot sit there and truly teach a student anything. There has to be passion and desire to learn. Sometimes teachers have to tend to students individually to help the student succeed. According to WritingCommons.org, “Conferences are a time for you, as a student, to ask your instructor specific, individualized questions about your project that you may not have the opportunity to ask in the classroom.…
