Why Is It Important To Have A Teacup Piglet

Improved Essays
I want to ask my mother for the privilege for her to get me a teacup piglet. I want a teacup pig for multiple reasons. Good reasons for that. They are really good house pets, even though they are raised on a farm. They are smart and well mannered like a human. Lastly, they are very obedient. These are just a few reasons to why I want a teacup piglet and why I should be allowed to have one.

“You need to be able to take care of yourself before you take care of another.” A quote by Danielle Gillam. This means that you can’t take care of anything else if you can’t already take care of yourself and provide yourself with what you need. Although teacup piglets are born and raised or a farm, they are very good house pets. Teacup pigs do not destroy anything because they are small and they don’t do much. They are very sweet and generous and very well behaved. They are very playful and bring plenty of joy around. As long as you keep them busy and give them a lot of attention, then they will be no hassle. This is why I should have a teacup piglet because I have all the care and attention that they will need because I am not a busy person; which means I will have all the time for them when I am at home and not at school.

But these types of pigs are very obedient. They will listen when told to do something. They are calmer than they are ready. Whenever you want the pig to do something, it will do it without being told multiple times. They are very smart and well trained. The more you teach the teacup pig to respect others from the outset, they must learn and understand the word “no.” When showing more attention to something other than they will then start them to get mad and then become very sensitive. If my mom would buy me a teacup pig, I will give him all the attention it would need and train her/him to be as respectful and polite as

While it is important to recognize what is and isn’t possible in the moment as a whole and what can and cannot be expected of others, it’s just as important to realize the assets we possess as individuals. In the story, Piglet assumes he isn’t useful for the situation, and when told he is, Pooh then assumes that because of this, he is not useful. The instinct to second-guess your own importance is more strong for some than for others and unfortunately, that thought process seems to be my go-to. It’s important for all people not only to know that they are useful to others, but also to generally know their own worth. Without that, it’s difficult to think of yourself as capable to do the things you were made to do.…

The quote above originates from a chapter in which Mills is clarifying why it is ideal to have options, and to be more astute of those options, than it is to have less options and experience life without thinking about these decisions. For the sake of simplicity, Mills looks at Socrates and fools, then people and pigs; the latter both being "lower." He contends that no human could ever desire to be a pig only for the ease of the pig's life. Human beings deal with complications in our lives unknown to pigs, yet Mill can't even fathom somebody needing to surrender their human life only for the comfort of a pigs life. I tend to look at the inverse of this theory that perhaps the “higher” creature would be more disappointed when disappointed, knowing…
