I write to you today in hopes of opening your mind in adding ten extra points to the final semester grade. Ten points might not seem like alot, but it could just be that little help someone despritly needed. An extra ten points could personal help me with progressing forward in school. I believe that deserve an extra ten points on my semster grade; because; i try my hardest to be great in your class and give it my all, and your my only teacher that pushes me to be great, and i truly appreciate it, but i realy don’t want to be in your class for another year.

I understand that giving an extra could possibly do more for others and nothing for some, but for me it’s just that little help i need in order to pass for the semster. But I ask if you

It’s almost the middle of May, and it seems like just yesterday that I walked into your class on the first day of school. At that point, I had band first period. I’ve been through three different first period classes this year -- band, study hall, and finally, Spanish. I’d heard a lot about you and your Honors English class before the first day of school. In fact, I checked with all of my older friends at Amity to find out about my classes and my teachers.…

Dear, Kimmie During my revision process I realized how much I have grown as a writer, I went from someone who was just good enough to get an A in every other English class, to someone who had to try his butt off for the A. This in turn let me learn more in an English class than I ever had before and also let me grow into the prospering writer you see before you today. I learned many things this year that helped really push my writing to the next level that it needed to go, in order to be at that collegiate level. So for that I say thank you, because if it weren’t for you I would be stuck at Nampa with a teacher who mediates in her class. And this would not have let me grow as a writer whatsoever, leaving me stuck in the same old pattern of…

I feel that if I made it into this school I would be on my way to a better life than what I have. I can provide so much for your school, I have a 3.6 GPA, and I play lots of sports such as basketball, football, track, and volleyball. I’ve been on honor roll at Burdick elementary since fourth grade and I’m still on it. My strong suits academically are math and reading. I take freshman math…

In this fall semester of college what I’ve learned in Ms. Balderas class is knowing how to properly write a college written essay. I know after taking this course that I can somewhat write a well written essay that is college appropriate. In high school I was taught to write essay that were good enough for the teachers, but now that I’m in college I feel the need that I need to write better and show my instructor that I do know what I am writing about. I’ve learned so many ways to write a paper, but some of my essays aren’t there yet, I feel as if I haven’t gotten to the point where I’ve learned to write a paper that is good, but I know within time I’ll get there.…

I do not if you remember me but I’m Stephanie Espinal. I went to your office before the exam number 3 and talked about how can I do better in the mini-exams. I do not want to say that I give up on doing well in the mini-exams, but not matter what I do I still get a bad grade. This frustrates me a lot. Before coming to UMass I did have problems taking exams but at least, I used to pass them.…

Let me say this to begin this paragraph, some people say they want the truth but settle for lies are words I live by. To be honest, at first, I thought you were trying to kill us (the first four units), I needed to settle for quickies with my wife instead of well you know. I would spend time with her then back to my office to read, respond or whatever was on my schedule for that evening. Honestly, my wife was mad at you, lol, until I reminded her of her receiving her Master’s Degree. I know too funny.…

My tenth-grade experience summed up in one word would be “impactful”. It impacted me in a way that my previous school years could never compare to. The past few years in school involved compliments from teachers who believed I had the work ethic and the smarts to be put in an honor’s class. Only for them to never put me in an honor’s class. The phrase “you should be in the honor’s classes” rung repeatedly in my head to the point where it didn’t seem like a compliment anymore, it seemed like a constant jab at the fact that I wasn’t in the honor’s classes.…

Extra credit is an academic concept, particularly used in American schools. Students are offered the opportunity to undertake optional work, additional to their compulsory school work, in order to gain additional credit that would boost their grades. Many students have good reason to seek extra credit. Maybe they’ve been ill, or they have family concerns, or they work. But often, it seems as if extra-credit requests are acts of desperation by students looking for easy ways to boost their grades.…
