Although sports and after school activities may take time away from friends, it is imperative that education and grades come first to better the teen's future. A positive result of editing the curfew to 10 P.M. is that they are most likely to complete school assignments that are due the next day; as opposed to, had the teen went out that night, after school sports and activities, they would have returned home being too tired to engage in any kind of benficial activity regarding their education. In not doing the work that was assigned to them, their grades will begin to decline. All of those things begin to domino and it all starts with getting home before 10 P.M. on the weekdays. In the long run the curfew of 10 P.M. on weekdays and midnight on weekends will come to be appreciated in light of all the benefits it bestows upon the young adult.
