My family doesn’t have a history of great education since my mom barely finished high school and my dad didn’t past the fifth grade. Due to their education, my parents weren’t able to find a good job since they were only accepted in a meat factory with tough labor and long hours. Seeing my parents tired and stress because of their jobs, I knew I had to find myself a better future and this left me to become a first generation family member to go to college. Despite their tiredness and stress, my parents continued to support by allowing me to create a better future for myself joining honor, AP, and college classes in my high school years.
