Why Is Hunting Wrong

Imagine that you’re at school in the cafeteria and someone throws food in your face. You feel upset, sickened, miserable, and confused. You go to tell someone what happened, but all they tell you is that it’s all just a game. It does not matter that you got hurt, or that you weren’t informed about what was about to happen. This is a perfect example of what hunting is like for the poor, innocent animals that die every single day at the hands of selfish humans. Hunting has been around since anyone could remember; however, that doesn’t make it right. There are many reasons why hunting is wrong such as the suffering they go through, accidents during hunting, and animal extinction. Hunting makes a huge impact on the world, it has even made animals go extinct across the world. People have transformed hunting into something it wasn’t always used to be. Accidents during hunting happen all the time. People are dying from this and it shouldn’t be taken lightly. It isn’t just the firearms that are killing people, it is the intense weather conditions people are taking on to go at the “best time” to kill. People need to recognize the extremely dangerous situations they are putting themselves in. There have been accidents reported of hunters accidentally shooting people in the woods, dogs, cats, and even horses. These days people are just killing animals for the thrill of it. Some people do not even eat the animals they kill. Let alone the fact that serial killers typically start out with killing animals recreationally as a young age.
