What is important to me? Have you ever asked yourself that question? I know I do all the time, between decisions and even just because I want to see what’s more important to me. Hunting is my passion! I love how hunting is important to me, what materials I need to go hunting, and the thrill of when the deer will show up right in front of me. Why is hunting important to me? Hunting in my family is a family tradition for most of the family. Also our family just really loves hunting because hunting is fun and we love the thrill of a gunshot and are biting our nails because we don’t know if whoever shot was our family. You need materials like a gun, ammunition, orange jacket, and some warm clothes to get you through the bitter coldness of winter. I love it when it’s Christmas time and you get new hunting clothes that are so warm. This last Christmas I got a new fur hat and the hat was so warm I started to sweat. I did wear that hat all day though. The thrill of deer hunting is the best feeling I have ever had. Feeling like that just makes you want to jump out of your chair and yell “when are the deer going to come”! I don’t know how many people in the world who love this feeling, but I know there is one person and that one person is me. If there is a deer that is in my range to shoot, my adrenaline used get really high and I started shaking, but I am better about that now. Even if I miss the deer I am still one happy camper because I at least know that there are some deer around me. Hunting is my passion! I love how hunting is important to me, what materials I need to go hunting, and the thrill of when the deer will show up right in front of me. I just can’t stand it if I can’t go hunting very often or even at all because my dad can’t get off work in time, but I know that isn’t his fault. If you don’t like hunters then you wouldn’t like me, but I do what I have to do. All of these reasons are why hunting is important to

Hunting has been around since the dawn of time. Having transformed from a vital means of survival to a sporting activity, people have long debated both sides of the issue. While some view hunting as a righteous action, others despise the deed. The argument for hunting as an admirable or distasteful act is still relevant to present society. As seen in the writings of Rick Bass and Robert G. Schreiner through many comparisons and differences, imagery, deeper meanings, stances, and views, the debate of hunting is a controversial matter.…

The Adrenaline that a hunter feels being in the top of a tree stand waiting for the perfect deer to hunt is absolutely incredible, however hunters are not always lucky enough to find their prey. My dad and I began going around the ranch a day before we went hunting, we looked around to see where the biggest deer’s were located. We tested and align the rifles, to leave everything prepared to go hunting the following day at dawn. We were very positive that we were going to be lucky enough to hunt a big trophy deer, tough the results we had were never crossed our minds.…

But when you are walking in the woods you want to try and act like a deer by how they walk also hunters can do this by walking in a erratic stop and go pattern, but simply most easiest way is to just go with the flow because you will never have the same hunt. Deer are mostly accustomed to hearing squirrels running through the leaves and limbs falling from trees, but if a hunter goes out and doesn’t spray any scent on him to cover him up a deer will smell you from miles away and won’t come to your stand. Deer live in the wood twenty four hours, seven days a week they know what sounds are normal to them and what sounds are not if a hunter makes just the slightest noise of something slamming against metal when you are climbing up a stand the deer will get curious around their territory. Another thing that all hunters should do is not let your guard down because the minute that you do the biggest buck of your life could walk right past you and you didn’t get the shot off, but if you don’t let your guard down you have to be calm and quiet because when you see the big buck your adrenaline will kick in and your heart will be racing so much but everything can happen so fast in a blink of an…

Sadly, we couldn’t get a shot because it was still way too dark but it definitely got my adrenaline going. That was the exact moment I knew I was going to love hunting. When we finally got to the stand, I crawled up the ladder and sat down on the seat that my dad had provided for me, anxiously waiting for my time to prove that I really could be a hunter.
