WIlliam Shakespeare is a really good Creator of Plays which inspire to become books or
even movies,one of which is a really unforgiving tragedy play called Hamlet.This whole play
created a bunch of questions that are unanswered still today one of which is the question if
Hamlet is actually mad? There are some people who argue that Hamlet is not actually mad but I
think there wrong. In Hamlet, William Shakespeare reveals that Hamlet is actually mad. First reason is Hamlet was the only one to see the ghost King Hamlet In the rising action
hamlet asks gertrude if he sees “A king of shreds and patches save me do you see nothing
there nor did you nothing hear”(Shakespeare 140-145).

Second reason is he killed someone in cold blood.In the rising action he catches polonius
and says “How now a rat dead for a ducat DEAD!!!” (Shakespeare 25-30) It's his last words
before he kills polonius. In the rising action hamlet realizes he killed polonius instead of the King
“Nay I know not is the king”(Shakespeare 30-45). He is saying how he thought he killed the
king like he originally wanted, not polonius.He thought he Killed the King but Instead he killed
Polonius without thinking about it his madness controlled him and he kill Whoever was behind
that curtain.
