Grit is what one needs for success and to keep success. Grit is one of the most important aspects to gaining a goal wanted. In college, grit is important to a student because, without grit, the student can fail multiple times. People usually go to college to pursue a career after and without grit people wouldn’t graduate. Therefore those people will not be able to pursue that career they want. Mr. Hoque says in an article for business insider, “I believe grit is an attitude; it's your belief that you can conquer anything. It's not giving up, nor giving in. It's the ability to go from days to weeks to months to years to reach your destination as you define it. To me GRIT stands for: Gut, Resiliency, Inventiveness, and Tenacity.” (Hoque) One
