Why Is Grey's Anatomy Important To Me

A few years ago my parents introduced me to one of the most watched television shows in the United States, "Grey's Anatomy." Though the show was mainly advertised to showcase the drama aspect of it, I was only drawn to its medical component and the extraordinary ways the producer of "Grey's Anatomy" presented the characters. The ways the doctors did everything they could to save their patients, especially when they were in unusual situations that required them to make use of techniques they have never thought of before was memorizing to me. The characters put babies back into their mother's wombs to "cook a little longer", cured a child's autoimmune disease with inactive HIV cells, and even dissected an "inoperable" tumor from woman's brain. At school, participating in extracurricular activities, such as sports/clubs, and actively working to improve my academics, such as getting involved in our schools TMSCA (science/math) team, is very critical to me. They not only enhance my educational standpoint but my leadership skills as well. This is why I believe I will be a great contribution to this program. I am always trying to do my finest job to any project I engage in, whether it is something as simple as writing a paper or a task as difficult as my last class project worth an enormous amount of my grade.I am always willing to broaden my horizons with things unexpected and constantly continue to bloom, for I never want my education to end. Lastly, my leadership skills, such as my ability to inspire, adequately communicate and successfully delegate, will give much to this program, for leaders are always needed in this world, and I am more than willingly to become one myself. The Oxbridge Academic Programs, from what I have heard and read, is an amazing organization that I truly get involved
