Overuse of herbicide results in “super weeds” immune to the herbicide which causes farmers to use more toxic herbicides ever planting season. This is creating environmental harm, GM foods are carrying my toxic herbicides on them than ever before. Roundup is the most widely used herbicide today for GMO farmers. Roundup is linked with sterility, hormone disruption, birth defects, and cancer. They can also cross pollinate and spread the DNA change to other plants. Organic and non-GMO farmers fight to keep their crops pure and GMO free. But the contamination has also caused economic loses for these kind of farmers. It’s impossible to clean up the DNA. Self-propagating GMO Pollution will last longer than the effects of global warming, and nuclear waste.
