Why Is Football Important To Me

I'm surrounded by a dark tunnel. As I walk forward I see a light that is getting brighter and brighter. I run out of the tunnel. I can’t believe what I'm seeing. The Super Bowl. It instantly brings tears to my eyes. I look around and I see a lot of fans screaming my name and holding up posters with my number on it shouting “18”. All I feel is my shoulder pads, thigh pads , and helmet on. They feel tight and protective. As the game starts the fans are roaring like a lion. I look to my right. I see David and we smile and we both give a diamond smile. When the play starts David put pressure on the other team's QB. The quarterback throws the ball and I pick it off and run all the way to win the game. The crowd goes crazy! They are jumping out of the stands and running to me. They give giant bear hugs. The game is over. We win the Super Bowl. As we are leaving the …show more content…
Football has always been a stress reliever for me. Every time I was sad or mad even happy football was the only thing that ever helped me get my mind right. In 8th grade I always got in trouble and a lot of intense problems happened in 8th grade. But when it got towards the end of the year I really started to get my mind right because my football career was on the line. Football is a big part of my family's life. Which brings me to another reason I like football. My dad played football in high school. Me and him used to go to the park every day and play football. It didn’t matter how hot or cold it was. We were out there playing football. That's when I found out how much I appreciate football.This might make me sound crazy but I'm a really aggressive person so I like hitting people and the adrenalin. I love the heart racing feeling I have before a game and the blood boiling effect I get when a player on the other team irritates me.
