Why Is Football Important To Me Essay

As you walk out of the football locker room the air is bursting with the fresh smell of popcorn and hot dogs. You can feel the butterflies start to swarm in your stomach as you step foot onto the field. You look all around you and all you can see are your brothers, your teammates. You can feel the field move as your team the mighty lions take the field. You look left and see your opponents staring you down and you can see in there eyes that they want to beat you so bad on your own turf. In your heart you know that if you and your team leave everything on that field that there is no way possible for you to lose. Going over film in the locker room the coaches point out every intricacy. Being lectured on how to make a better tackle or hustle down the field has taught me to execute every play like it's my last. I have transferred that over to daily life and have made sure that every day I don't waste a single minute.
Being the first child in the family I was normally very organized and neat. My room always stayed in tip top shape and bed was made every morning. Having organization about everything has nothing but positive outcomes. Assignments in class are never late, chores get done around the house, and gives you tons of free time. Growing up the way I did has made myself a better rounded person for what the college life has to offer. In the beginning of our adult lives most people still rely on their parents to point us in the right direction even though everything is on your shoulders. My mom has always put her family first by providing great benefits and that is why I choose to pursue a career in Nursing at Eastern Michigan University.
