With any research project there is an element of fear with just hearing or reading the word Research. Why is fear associated with research? Research in itself has many different concepts. According to The Merrian Webster Dictionary Research” mean: carful or diligent search or studious inquiry or examination aimed at the discovery and interpretation of new knowledge”. To me research means to find a subject of interest, ask a few questions. What impact it will have on me, what can I learn from it and how can I learn from it? No matter which definition you identify with research can be very overwhelming. At the beginning of any research one can be confused because you don’t know where to begin. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us to trust in the Lord with all your heart, …show more content…
I would have not known where to start. This class gave me guidance as Psalm 32:8 instructs us to Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. The MPA 608 Project II The Formal Proposal class helped me to understand how to develop a formal research proposal, explain the purpose of the proposed research, conduct a literature review of secondary research sources, develop and explain a research methodology, how to develop a plan from beginning to end, how to conduct a literature review and how to develop a research proposal.
The MPA 608 correlates with Romans 12 the 10 Commandment are listed. We needed the guidance Needing Rules for living. The scripture leads us to coming up with a proposal. Coming up with a proposal to address IDD transition to the community was a bit of a challenge to me at first because I did not know where I wanted to go with the second phase of my research capstone. I had to decide where I wanted to go with this capstone. In Galatians 6: 9 it instructs us to not grow weary while doing good. For in due season we shall reap if we do not lose
