A couple of facts I found was that everybody on my dad’s side was related to President Adams and a pilgrim named Steven Hopkins who came to America on the Mayflower. While searching many “road blocks” have been hit including not finding a trace of evidence from people I search. The year I showed up on a sense was in 2005 on the Iowa senses. Later on in 2010 I showed up on the United States of America senses. Finally, I am kind of a persistent person but try not to give up, I try my best to find information but if that doesn’t work I try something else. The thing that interested me in family history was not knowing anyone after my great grandpa on both sides of my family. Another reason it interested me was I didn’t meet a lot of my grandparents only my great grandpa and his friend that came to my house. In conclusion, now you know my journey in researching my family history. If you asked me one word that describes my journey it would be “”. Remember the reason this is important is because the finding of new people could lead to great discoveries about things you never knew about before.
