Why Is Everyone Created Equally

Improved Essays
I believe that everyone is created equally. I Believe this because no matter what race or how someone looks we are all people. We are all people which means that we all have feelings which can be hurt by what people think or even say. Everyone just wants to live with out judgement but we can’t. I think that just because someone looks a certain way or is something your not, doesn’t mean they are bad people. I think that everyone deserves a chance to be equal to everyone else.
Sometimes when I go out to public places I hear people saying oh their mental or dumb. But you haven’t even met them and yet you judge them. People say this all the time and that doesn’t make it right or good. I believe that if we hear this we should say that it shouldn’t

Race relations have been around for decades, and things haven’t changed so much since the incident in Little Rock on September 4th, 1957. Most African Americans still find it hard to be included into the White American society because there are still people in the world that choose not to accept them, due to the color of their skin. They are still being mistreated and judged and people always assume the worst from them in every given situation. In the article, “The Myth of Race” by Agustin Fuentes, he explains the question about human variation and how we can tell everyone apart from each other and how it’s all just a myth. I believe that people who discriminate against anyone of color need to understand that we are all the same on the inside and we are the ones who make the categories between each other.…

Flowers for Algernon tells the reader about how you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. The main character, Charlie Gordon, was mentally retarded. He had a surgery on his brain that was supposed to make him very smart, for the rest of his life. People would make fun of him for being retarded, then once he had his surgery, they still made fun of him because of the change.…

All over the world, people have stereotypes that dehumanize a certain group of people. The government can do all they want to make a certain group of people to be valued more than others. Society has valued or made to value lighter skin as prettier and better. People have privileges that others don 't have just by the way they look. For example, in our class discussion we had many examples about how young children were given the task to describe two dolls a white and a black one and everyone said good things about the white one but not for the black doll.…

In our courts, all men are created equal In To Kill a Mockingbird, Atticus says, “our courts are great levelers, and in our courts all men are created equal” (274). This statement is true because of many different reasons. As of today people try to stay as equivalent as possible, but when the time comes, everyone has to treat each other the same. If you don't treat everyone in the same manner, then there can be some major consequences.…

Yes, everyone is different in their own way. But no one should be judged or treated by their religion, race, or gender. Judging others does not define them, it defines you. Everyone is born equal, no matter race, religion, or gender. Therefore I believe that your race, religion, or gender does not define you and also that everyone is born equal, no one is superior than another.…

The belief that one person is superior to another person just because they have certain physical features does not mean that one person has a supreme ranking in society. In the past, Nazis, such as Hitler, believed that the Aryan race (blonde hair and blue eyes) was set to rule the world just because lighter skin tones were viewed as superior. The truth is that there is no evidence to back up this claim. People that have this mentality, such as Hitler and other Nazis, are responsible for the suffering and deaths of over 6 million innocent Jews. In the end, we are all equal and there is no scientific evidence to prove otherwise.…

Have you ever just been able to walk around without being judged? Simply walking down the street can get you judged, looked at funny and even assumptions. Racism still exists in this world today and it’s sad to say that “everyone is equal” when that is not true at all. People get treated differently every day where ever you live. Just by the way you look should not determine the way you are going to get treated especially for the way you dress, act, gender, and race.…

In the article, “We Are Not Created Equal in Every Way”, Joan Ryan writes about a little girl who loves to dance but seemingly is not a skinny petite child. The author, who has written substantially about the pressures on young female athletes tosses out a red herring, insisting that the concern is not about Fredrika’s weight but that a child of only eight years is being thrust into such a burdensome position. My interpretation of this article is that the author is trying to validate reasons for the child to not be accepted due to her weight. Therefore, I would like to point out some of the logical flaws in her reasoning.…

What one person believes is pure or right in reality is not how things really are. Those beliefs are either taught by their parents or by the events that have happen in one’s life. Our beliefs and how we view right, wrong, superior races has to do with what our parents taught us sometimes that is not an easy to do to unlearn what has been taught. There is no good reason to ALLIENTATE a person because of how they look or their ETHNITICITY. That type of behavior leads to things like GENOCIDE and COLONIASIM takes place.…

The Declaration of independence contained the phrase “all men are created equal”, which was written by Thomas Jefferson. As a reader the phrase “all men are created equal” means that all men no matter of color, social position, wealthy, financials status, and culture are all created equal to one another. That all men abide and follow the same law and that all men have the same rights as citizen. It also means that humans are naturally free to make their own choices. On the other hand, the phrase to the founders of the republic meant that all men are created equal under the authority of God.…
