I believe that education is the key to success in life. As a Christian who was born and raised in Africa, I only came in contact with three kinds of belief that people held. One was Christianity, Islamic, and witchcraft. But now that I am living in America, I have come in contact with people who believe in Islamic, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, and atheist. Among all these religion that I have come across with atheist surprises me very much because they are people who know the existence of God but refused to accept it. Just because they do not wants to. For being a person who believe that education is the key to life, I am thankful for having some knowledge of atheistic. I think is very sad that there is some people who have refused to …show more content…
Not having a relationship with God makes us not know or understand our purpose in this world. So, if a person says that there is no need for God because science reveal something about the universe that we are living in is sad. Especially now that we do not have a great relationship with God is the time that we need Him to be a part of our daily lives, and put trust in science will not restore our relationship with God. After feeling sad that there is people who do not believe in Christianity because of science, I think this statement is a wakeup call to all Christians. Meaning that we need to take the responsibility and educated other about believing in God. Ultimately, us Christians need to take our responsibilities of sharing the gospel to the world very serious and put into practice. Let’s this practice be a part of our day to day …show more content…
I will first tell her that I am also in the science major and that every time I learn something new like the different synaptic signals that take place in the neuron, I am amazed by the wondrous things that God created in us. This makes me worship Him even more. I will add, as A Meaningful World says that “the cell is integrated, complex whole within which DNA as DNA can function… Its function requires untold layers of complexity that DNA itself does not provide” (Wiker & Witt, 43). Looking at this quote, we are told that even with all the biological events that science has revealed to us, there is still more information that we do not know yet. This is why I think the science help us to see some of the things that God created except we will never understand completely understand all the works of God because He is an infinite

I doubt they would ever finish the book to start with to be perfectly honest. I think they would be confused or pushed farther away from Christianity and any relationship to God. For starters, many non-believers tend to not be atheists. I mean Atheists are so hard to win to Christ because they already have a belief that there is the higher power and are stubborn in that, just like any strong Christian would very unlikely be driven to the thought of no God and this world is just it for humanity. In some ways, Atheism makes more sense they Christianity.…

This term refutes the traditional idea that mission is the centered on the church and to express that mission actually is centered on God.” Individuals that have been sent into the world to proclaim the gospel, must take specific action by sharing the gospel and persuading all the people of the world to become Jesus’s disciples. Learning to live a Christian life is one thing, but living out what we have learned is another story. As Christians, I think we have a greater responsibility because we know how the world should look, and we need to step up and lead the people around us. In order to share the gospel with others, we have to take a look at what God is calling us to do. Leading others consists of knowing what the Christian life looks like, sharing that with others, and staying faithful and truthful in what we say and do. Brian Jensen and Keith Martel did a wonderful job of explaining the gospel in their book Storied Leadership: Living and Leading from The Christian Narrative.…

When Americans say they want government to be more considerate towards religion, rarely do they include other religions besides their own. This is very similar from Puritan times. Many Americans are not opposed to public schools teaching religion, IF it is Christianity. However, many are outraged if Islam is taught. Some feel as the government is becoming anti-Christian yet they do not speak for people who are anti-Semitic and anti-Muslims.…

He seemed adamant in believing the negative and bias opinion that psychology is not an appropriate form of care and assistance. His complete lack of respect or view for another opinion has greatly inhibited him from knowledge that could refute his claims. Also, I find it odd that he stated in the beginning that there is no such thing as “Christian” psychology but then goes on to talk about how to be a real Christian Psychologist. Before speaking to someone from John MacArthur’s church I would want a more current knowledge of his stance as well as the indivudal beliefs of those I am speaking with. Many people find religion very controversial sometimes because they don’t believe in God or don’t want to hear about him. For many people and philosophers God gives no meaning to life and for others God does give meaning. Personally God gives a lot of meaning to my life and helps me with my daily life. For some people God is very important and others know about God but have no interest whatsoever.…

Questions have also arisen concerning the origin of god where people have found it hard to believe that god might have arisen from nothing. As the Christians claim that god is the creator, then one is bound to ask about who created the god who created everything (Hancock, 1996). Omniscience is also a paradox that atheists find very contradictory. This is based on the idea that this god knows everything and by so doing, he cannot forget but the paradox is that by forgetting some things, then he does not then know everything as claimed. For example, when god forgets his people and lets them suffer then it is true that he does not indeed exist (Drachman,…

The beliefs atheist have can vary from individuals and are generally different. People who identify as atheist may have very different beliefs, but generally there are a few certain beliefs that are the same. One would be that they do not believe anything without empirical evidence. A lot of time this is what leads people to become atheist. They will see the flaws and lack of evidence in religion and slowly start to realize that religion may be wrong or does not have the right answers.…

By definition intolerance means to have an unwillingness ability to accept the views, beliefs, or behaviors that differ from one’s own. Christians can’t be wrong, they live a life of their own views; they live with spiritual thought. To accept a gay person into their home or an ex-murder into their home is beyond acceptable. Whether Christian’s believe in helping others or helping them thrive; they don’t help the ones who need it most. These people who claim to be true followers of Christ might actually be wrong, but instead of accepting this, they build a wall of intolerance.…
