Why Is Concealed Carry Important

77% of all violent crime occurs in public places. This means that many people are defenseless against those who have illegal carry. Lots of people think that concealed carry will make our country better and others think that it will increase crime. There is no statistical evidence of increasing crime rates in areas where concealed carry is allowed. Since concealed carry is legal, many people do feel safer going out and doing things on their own. If everyone was allowed to carry around concealed handguns with permission, many people would be/feel safer, crime rates could decrease and the legal issues would not be something to worry about.
There are people who don’t even feel safe leaving their own home. With a concealed gun, they would feel much safer because they would have something to defend themselves with. Concealed carry could be used as a defense against anyone. No matter your size or age it’s still very useful. It is great to have for your own personal safety. People who have concealed carry will feel safe because they know they can defend themselves.
