After all’s said and done Intro. (Introduction) to College lent us insight and guidance to the first step of our college years. Throughout the course we’ve plowed through topics such as testing better, the cost of cheating, how to utilize the college more fully, and a myriad of other resources at our fingertips.
To start off I’ll briefly note my community service and what it means. Firstly community service is an invaluable tool essentially for careers to show what would be involved in that career giving you a chance to glimpse at what tasks you’d possibly do. As well as bulking up your job resume. Secondly community service allows immersion into your community giving you a chance to be more involved and better rounded person. Lastly my community service was a Fish Fry at my local church in which I helped serve drinks, food such as green beans, or do various tasks given to me on a need case basis. Which ties into my second point giving you a solid example on how service connects you with others. …show more content…
Many students don’t realize that there’s financial aid beyond the surface such as scholarships and the qualified counselors at the school are ready to help you. Another huge benefit unseen would be crews that keep people safe, sober, and involved in the community (Events such as “Student appreciation Night” or “Valentine Plays/Movies” for those that don’t have plans to keep them occupied).The last note as there’s so many choices would be the consistent availability of counselors as mentioned above but beyond that they’re also there for your mental health needs or advising and many students think they’ll be better un- advised which isn’t the case is at least for
