Why Is College Education Important To Me

Improved Essays
College education is extremely crucial to me. I received a $500 scholarship from USD for each semester of my sophomore year of college. I am paying the rest of my educational expenses through student loans and money that I have earned from my two part time jobs. I was raised by a single mother for countless years until my mother married my stepfather. My mother was a teen mom and had an abundance of financial struggles as I was growing up. Due to this set back of financial struggles, she was unable to save money for me to go to college, even though she desperately wanted to go to college. She continues to pay her financial debt and her own student loans. My parents both work full time and have always supported me and my two younger siblings.
