Why Is College E Ducation Important

My college e ducation is important to me because the work force in today's economy has become a very competitive place where companies are now looking for qualified persons to employ. I would like to attain a college degree for three main reasons. The three reasons are, to be an inspiration to my y ounger brother , better career opportunities, and to make my parents proud . A college degree will open up a new chapter in my life and it will be the beginning of more opportunities and growth . Inquiring a college degree can provide a better job, income and self fulfillment and long term opportunities .

Malcolm X, a civil rights activist, once said, "Without education, you are not going anywhere in this world." Every year, millions of people throughout the world go to a University. Getting a higher education will help create so many paths and give a better life. Various kinds of people go to university for different goals, ambitions and reasons. A college edu cation will not only show that you are a trained professional, but it also shows that your ready to put your knowledge to use.

Bilkey, during the famous Dubai Ports world controversy in February 2006 stated that: “you never will be the person you can be if pressure, tension and discipline are taken out of your life.” This statement fits in well on anyone who has the desire to acquire college education. For anyone to accrue the benefits on college education which can be grouped into tangible and intangible benefits, there necessarily must be things like pressure, tension, discipline, etc., on the part of the student in order to succeed. Many people don’t really believe that a college education is necessary to become successful in the world, and that anyone who is truly talented and knows what he wants to do can achieve anything. To be honest, there is nothing wrong in this way of thinking; however, a college education is something that will act as a pivot to keep people
