Knights, noblemen, horsemen, courteous, honor, ready to help the weak. Those are all synonyms of chivalry. People are becoming more self-centered in today’s society chivalrous idea’s will help prevent society egocentrism.
There is a general accepted lack of respect in today’s world but chivalry may help with some of it.People don’t show as much respect as they should towards each other.There was a study recently done called “virtual distancing.” What that means is people use their phone’s to separate themselves from others. A common scenario could be when a man and women go on a date they barely said any words to each other then hi, and what they will be ordering. Just staring at their phones. A teen could be at the mall and could be standing on there phone and an old lady could fall over and they wouldn't even no. Because they are too busy looking at their phone. There is an all lives vs/ black lives matter going on around the country. Black Lives Matter protest in Charlotte fatal. Many civilians and police officers have been hurt/killed during these protests. During the Charlotte protest a civilian was shot by another civilian and a police officer was hurt. A celebraties person and reputation doesn't seem to matter anymore.
Some people think it is okay when celebrities post inappropriate pictures or messages and they get applauded for it. Miley Cyrus started out as a young actress/singer in 2004. Starring in the leading role Hannah Montana, and began her career as an actor and a singer. In 2008 she started posing for pictures revealing herself at age fifteen. Which was published in Vanity Fair Magazine. There was some criticism in the media but not enough to damage her career. After leaving Hannah Montana she decided to distance herself from the show.
