Chemistry is a branch of science that deals with the identification of the substances of which matter is composed. It also involves the properties and the ways in which they interact, combine, and change. Chemistry is important to life. The environment is composed of many chemicals without identification of chemicals we wouldn’t know what chemicals are safe to have around or which chemicals are harmful and dangerous to our bodies. To answer the enduring question, how do we gain knowledge to understand a chemical system, particularly since we cannot see atoms or molecules? We gain knowledge on this by the reaction the atoms or molecules going through from testing different valuable like the reaction of the molecules; how fast or slow they are moving we can use three factors: concentration, temperature and a catalyst. This we tested in “experiment 9 how fast (or slow) can it go?” contributing to atom interaction of these factors and the effect it has on the substances present. Another enduring question is how can we use knowledge to predict(models) future events? What are the limitations to such predictions? This can be explained through different experiences and also models. If we look at “experiment 2 models, models everywhere” we can see how this is used. This experiment explains how different scientists create their model of an atom. As they learned more about scientific studies the atom became more complex. The progression of the atom started off very simple, but as…
