Learning is a process that begins at the basics and builds on that knowledge. Without acquiring the necessary skills from previous lessons through studying and hard work a cheater will continue to repeat the process because they have no foundation to attempt to complete the assignments on their own, even if they desired too. The only way for a cheater to break away from this cycle is by learning the material themselves.
Finally, cheating is no different than stealing. Whenever you cheat you are claiming someone else hard work as your own. This practice has no difference than occasionally shoplifting a few items at your local convenience store because you are taking another person's possession and declaring them yours, just as you would duplicate a classmates answer sheet or essay. The work is no longer their original creation after being defrauded by the cheater.
In conclusion, modern day America has garnered plenty of attention aimed at the idea of cheating. Due mainly to accusations placed upon some of our nations most successful individuals. No matter who chooses to cheat whether they be a celebrity or a college student cheating is never acceptable because it is no different than stealing, is unfair to honest students, and prevents a student from learning. In the end cheaters never win and never will
