Charlie Gordon was a nice hardworking man, but he was not very smart. Charlie was chosen for an experiment that could make him a smarter person. I think the surgery will not help him because he will under stand what is so called friends have been doing to him. Then charlie will have no friends and will be lonely.
Charlie dose not know that his friends are making fun of him. If he figures out Charlie will be devastated. In progress report 8 Mar 25 the author states " Sometimes somebody will say hey look at Joe or Frank or Gorge he really pulled a Charlie Gordon." meaning somebody did something stupid.
