Why Is Cesar Chavez Prominent

What made him prominent?
Cesar Chavez was famous because he was a union leader and labor organizer, which means he organized labor laws and was the leader over the whole U.S. union. He discovered his early experience as a migrant worker, and he also found the National Farm Workers Association in 1962. His union joined with the Agricultural Workers Organizing Committee in its first strike against grape growers in California, and the two organizations later merged together to become the United Farm Workers. He once struggled nonviolent methods, and later in life he ended up drawing attention for causes of via boycott, hunger strikes and etc. Despite the fact conflicts with the Teamsters union and legal barriers, he was able to secure raises
