California is known for having some of the most extravagant tourist attractions in the U.S. What most people think about are locations such as the beach or Disneyland, but there is one place that some of them consider "California's best kept secret." The place itself only attracts 130,000 visitors year round ting when in comparison to Yosemite National Park's 4 million. Although it may sound like a bleak place to go , it is full of natural wonders and geological secrets. This place is no other than Lava Beds National Monument where learning and exploring meet.

It may sound as if it is a dangerous treacherous place to take us to, but there is no danger there at all. Most of the caves have smooth surfaces and only require some minimum protection. Many tourist visit there with families and is quite an enjoyable site to be if you are looking for and educational but fun time in the sun. It would draw us to learn while also having a good time with the school. Therefore it would promote learning in a new inventive way into children's mindset. It would be more eye opening to explore and learn about the world around us, than sitting in a boring classroom while a teacher drones on

California is a state that consists of countless historical landmarks that have been preserved in order to better understand the heritage of that specific site. Preservation is a way for people to recycle land and buildings in order to teach people about the resources that were once used in the past. People observe and learn through the preservation of landmarks so that important details such as traditions, rituals, languages, and skills can be incorporated into our present and future time periods. Out of many captivating historical landmarks, I chose to visit Coyote Hills Regional Park because I wanted to learn more about its importance. Coyote Hills is a significant part of history because it teaches society that in spite of the invasion and the genocide that the Ohlone Indians underwent, decedents of the tribes are now connecting with their communities by sharing their land and history with society.…
