Why Is Bottled Water Better Than Tap Water

Everyone has a different opinion on what they like. Whether it be food, drinks, clothes, etc. When it comes down to bottled water vs. tap water it’s the same situation. Bottled water is better than tap water because it’s useful during disasters, more portable, and it has a variety of different water types. In this essay the reasons will be explained in depth about why bottled water is better than tap. To begin with, bottled water is better than tap water because it is useful during disasters. During hurricane irma, bottled water was a resource that was constantly going off the shelves in stores. My family purchased a couple of cases just in case power went out or if the county decided to issue a water restricted. If power was to go out people should have bottled water on hand because it’s supposed to purified and safe to use , so therefore people can use it for drinking, cooking, and personal hygiene such as brushing teeth. In addition , bottled water is better than tap water because it is more portable. The way bottled water is packaged it can easily be transported to different places. If people are traveling they can take how much they need with them. Bottled water companies can deliver bottled water in different sizes and packaging. Different brands of bottled water can be flavored, sparkling, or have electrolytes added to it. If people don't like plain water they can purchase water with flavor such as strawberry, cucumber , and many more. Sparkling water can add more taste by giving it that carbonated taste that people experience when they drink soda.
