Beowulf is a young Geat hero who is the descendant of multiple powerful warriors. A demon full of jealousy and rage attacks Denmark’s Royal Hall. This leads Beowulf to show courage and bravery by fighting against the beast. When man-made weapons aren’t proved to prevail, Beowulf manages to take down Grendel with his bare hands. As he became older, his desire to fight had eventually faded away. Five decades after his famous battles against evil, he would end up fighting his last battle. Beowulf took along multiple soldiers to help him fight his battle against the fearsome dragon. One of the soldiers he took for the battle was a young and immature younger man named Wiglaf, who would end up being hailed as a hero. Beowulf was able to take down the beast, but he made an extreme sacrifice. He ended up dying from being bitten in the neck by the dragon. Wiglaf helped Beowulf finish off the beast, which helped him earn his label as a hero. Beowulf wanted Wiglaf and the other soldiers to collect gold and valuable items to prove what they had fought
