Why Is Beowulf Good Against Evil

The poem Beowulf is an interesting twist on the plot of good against evil. This poem consists of a young hero named Beowulf who will fight three petrifying monsters to receive honor and glory. Beowulf was a powerful tale of the battle between a man and a monster. This may be the oldest known poem, but it is still considered one of the most thrilling and legendary. The legend of Beowulf is still shared to this day, but it has been edited by Christians to highlight another issue in the poem, which is good against evil. For example, Grendel and his mother are both descendents of Cain, who is the first cold-blooded murderer in the Bible.
Beowulf is a young Geat hero who is the descendant of multiple powerful warriors. A demon full of jealousy and rage attacks Denmark’s Royal Hall. This leads Beowulf to show courage and bravery by fighting against the beast. When man-made weapons aren’t proved to prevail, Beowulf manages to take down Grendel with his bare hands. As he became older, his desire to fight had eventually faded away. Five decades after his famous battles against evil, he would end up fighting his last battle. Beowulf took along multiple soldiers to help him fight his battle against the fearsome dragon. One of the soldiers he took for the battle was a young and immature younger man named Wiglaf, who would end up being hailed as a hero. Beowulf was able to take down the beast, but he made an extreme sacrifice. He ended up dying from being bitten in the neck by the dragon. Wiglaf helped Beowulf finish off the beast, which helped him earn his label as a hero. Beowulf wanted Wiglaf and the other soldiers to collect gold and valuable items to prove what they had fought
