In Antigone by Sophocles, Antigone did the right thing burying her brother. Although some may say that Antigone did the wrong thing because Antigone could had followed the rules because Creon is the leader, and she should had followed what he said. Antigone did break the law, but she stood up for her beliefs. She protected her family, and wanted to give her brother a good eternal life. One example from the text is when Antigone says she wants her brother to have a good afterlife (20-25). Antigone knows she is breaking the law of the land but she wants to stand up for what she believes it. She also knows not many people will agree with her but she wants to make sure polyneices has a great eternal life. A second example from the text is Antigone
