One very strong reason to stop testing on animals is it isn't reliable. First of all we have completely different anatomy (body parts). Obviously we and animals have different body parts, that means different cells, different organs, different DNA, and different functions, how can we count on the medicine that works for them to work for us. Another thing our toxic metabolism isn't in compare. And with different metabolisms, our tolerances will be different,so the amounts that work for them or don’t will be different for humans. My third piece of evidence is “Even chimpanzees, our closest genetic relative doesn’t accurately predict results in humans. ” If our closest living animal relatives results aren’t accurate how can we count on an animal that isn’t closely related to us. Clearly the results of …show more content…
In fact Dak Dak can provide can provide data for 5-6 products at less than half the price of 1 product using animal testing. This clearly shows it's way more expensive to make products using animal testing, they could use that money for schools and houses. Also a fact the companies are making millions of dollars helping testing. They think they are helping, but they really only help, are really themselves. All the money made just goes back into their businesses. The third fact I found out is it costs 136 million dollars a year to test on animals. The cost of testing is taking away from people who actually need this money it could go somewhere to help homeless people. Obviously testing on animals is a lot of money that can be used for other
