Is animal testing for medical treatment good?

Animal testing can help prevent diseases.The Polio vaccine tests brought the 350,000 cases in 1988 down to 223 in 2012.Animal testing can be used to save countless lives.Animal testing prevents many of diseases by finding vaccines for them. Another reason animal testing is good is that it can prevent lawsuits for companies trying to help people with medicines and drugs used to cure people.If they send out untested drugs it could result in injuries, deaths and lawsuits, which will put the company out of business. Some people might say that it is wrong to experiment on animals, because animals are being killed each year in laboratories worldwide. Testing new chemicals and drugs on animals
