For many years, makeup companies have been testing harmful chemicals on animals. Some people think that this is a good idea, but many other people like me think differently. The chemicals tested on animals harm them. As procon.org says, rabbits and mice will get sick with cancer, go blind, have swollen eyes, internal bleeding, and death. Test tests aren't always accurate, although animals have similar body parts as humans like liver, heart and kidneys. 94% of chemicals that pass animals hurt humans. In 1950 over 40,000 people died or got a heart attack from an unsafe chemical. Some people may argue that it helps ensure safety of chemicals.
